I love painting Still Life compositions, especially scholar objects – inkstone, brushpots, spirit rocks, bronze vessels etc.

The inscription on the teapot says “if the song is too highbrow, no-one will sing along”.  The excellent Chinese Sayings Podcast explains the meaning.
